Sofa-Icon is an upholstery manufacturing company established in March 2006 by Mark Joesbury and Richard Davies. Based in Bridgend, South Wales the company specialises in the manufacture of high quality upholstery, produced exclusively for a growing client base in both the retail and contract market sectors.

With a combined experience of 40 years in furniture manufacture, we are committed to creating products of real value, providing our customers with a highly responsive service with a quality that aims to surpass expectations.  

Being located in South Wales, an area traditionally known for its high skill base, the Sofa-Icon team of highly skilled craftsmen and women demonstrates an extremely flexible attitude and willingness to please in the hope of supporting the needs of our customers.

From one-off pieces to bespoke projects, the company produces products for top end independent retail outlets in the UK and multiple retail chains in central Europe

Sofa Icon has also grown a reputation as a high quality design / production resource for leading furniture and interior designers.

Sofa Icon has developed a core supplier base that provides nothing short of quality materials, components and service. Suppliers are sourced and selected for the quality, durability and workability of the product in production together with their ability to provide a highly responsive service.  The  company, as part of developing its environmental focus and remit, aims to source and select materials from UK based suppliers and in particular from local companies. 

Sofa-Icon has established the business to produce high quality products that will withstand the test of time. Each piece is a pure design classic with the intention of becoming an heirloom of the future.
