How to choose your furniture

Your sofa is one of the most important and most used items in your house. Hence it is important that it provides comfort, style and durability.

Sofa-Icon uses quality interiors which have been guaranteed by their suppliers to do the job that they are designed for.

Frames

Our frames are built from hardwoods sourced from sustainable managed woodlands.

All frames are screwed, glued and stapled. Large sofas can be made in two parts, while other designs have detachable arms for ease of access to your home.

Interiors

We use only the best interiors to give that extra degree of choice and comfort. Whether it is from a choice of feather, fibre, foam or indeed a mixture, a comfortable sit is guaranteed.

All cushions are pocketed, with interior walls like a top of the range duvet, so that the fillings do not migrate, but stay in place.

If you have asthma, or if natural fillings are a problem, we can also provide a non-allergenic solution.

All cushions are ably supported by either a support structure of serpentine springs or sprung coiled spring units.

All of our interiors conform to government legislation.

Feet and Legs

We offer a vast range of both turned and straight edged wooden show feet in an assortment of finishes. Allied to these an array of both wooden and metal plinth bases may be a feature of a design.

We also offer a high quality range of metal legs in a wide variety of shapes in both a polished or brushed finish.

Fabrics and Leathers

We offer an extensive range of fabrics and leathers from top end cover suppliers.

Examples of suppliers include Warwick fabrics, Ross fabrics, John Brown fabrics, Casamanche, Swaffer, The Isle Mill, Romo and Crest Leather.

Loose Cover Options

Many of the items in our furniture range are available as a loose cover option. Some are even washable. This gives the added advantage that you can remove them for cleaning and care, as well as having the added benefit of seeing your sofa transformed, all for the cost of a new loose cover only.

Guarantee

All our frames are guaranteed for five years. All other parts are guaranteed against normal wear and tear for two years.

When can I get my sofa?

As most of our goods are made to order, delivery is normally four to six weeks. We would look to contact you in this case, normally one to two weeks prior to delivery to find a mutually convenient time to deliver.

How much is delivery?

Delivery within a 50 mile radius is Free of charge. However, after that we do ask for a contribution towards the delivery cost starting at £40.00. For an accurate estimate, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
